Mr. Primo serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Capri Capital Partners, LLC, headquartered at Chicago, Illinois, USA, a real estate investment management firm advising pension fund and other institutional investors.
Active in the real estate industry for more than 30 years, Mr. Primo has challenged conventional wisdom in developing new markets for investment. He co-founded Capri in 1992 during the depths of the US credit crisis and successfully capitalized on the financing void left by retreating banks, insurance companies and thrift institutions. Under his leadership in 1998, Capri launched one of the industry’s first real estate mezzanine investment funds, and in the following decade became an early investor in America’s underserved urban markets.
Mr. Primo’s vision for the real estate industry has included an unprecedented commitment to diversity and social responsibility. He co-founded and is chairman of the Real Estate Executive Council, the industry’s leading organization for minority real estate professionals. He created the Emerging Leaders Program for young minority professionals under the Capri Foundation, and co-chaired the creation of the Preservation Compact for affordable housing, a groundbreaking program jointly funded by the Urban Land Institute and MacArthur Foundation. His industry involvement also includes serving as board member of the Pension Real Estate Association and as a former board member of the Real Estate Roundtable.
Mr. Primo has also been active in civic and other non-profit initiatives. He is a founder and currently board chairman of the Primo Center for Women and Children, a transitional center and family institute for the homeless, is founding chairman of the Chicago Alliance to End Homelessness, and is a board member of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Additionally, he is a board member of the Church Pension Group, the pension fund of the Episcopal Church.
Mr. Primo received a Master of Business Administration degree from the Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with honors and high distinction from Indiana University. He has been featured in national publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Fortune Magazine, Forbes, The New York Times, Bloomberg Business Week and Black Enterprise, and is a business contributor to CNBC cable news network. In addition to public company board experience, he has written or co-authored numerous articles and industry white papers and is often recognized for his professional, civic and philanthropic contributions.
Ms. Bhagyam Ramani is the Ex-Director and GM of General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC Re). She started off as a Direct Recruit Officer in 1976 and has worked and excelled in various departments. She became the General Manager in 2005, and thereafter Director on the Board of GIC Re in 2009. She retired in January 2012.
During her term of service, she has served on various committees like being a Trustee on the PF committee of the Tariff Advisory Board, Member on Education Board of Insurance Institute of India, working group on Investment Committee of IRDA, Investment Committee of Agricultural Insurance Company Ltd and GIC Re and Audit Committee of L&T, NSE, IDBI trusteeship Ltd, and Agricultural Insurance Company Ltd. etc. She represented GIC Re on the boards of Larsen & Toubro Ltd., National Stock Exchange of India, IDBI trusteeship Services Ltd., Milestone Capital Advisors Ltd. and Agricultural Insurance Company Ltd.
She is a Post Graduate in Economics (Honours) from Bombay University with specialization in Industrial and Monetary Economics; and, a visiting faculty at the National Insurance Academy, Pune.
Mr. Kacker has been an I.A.S officer with the Indian government for almost three decades and has held important senior positions, both in policy formulation roles as well as in executing capacities. As a Member of National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), he has been at the forefront of India’s highways revolution and was instrumental in planning and executing a major portion of the Golden Quadrilateral. The country’s first major project on public private partnership (PPP) basis, the six-lane Jaipur-Kishangarh Project was negotiated and finalized by him. The first Greenfield Expressway of India, the Ahmedabad-Vadodara Expressway was completed under his leadership. As Joint Secretary (Petrochemicals), he drafted the National Policy on Petrochemicals and conceptualized the policy on Investment Regions anchored by big petrochemical units. He has worked in various positions in the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. In view of his experience in the infrastructure sector, the Government of India inducted him as Member, Task Force on Infrastructure Development and Mega Projects. He also serves as Independent Director on the Board of two companies - Arshiya International Ltd, and, Entertainment World Developers Ltd.
He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Harvard University, USA and was a topper at Allahabad University in B.Sc. (Physics, Mathematics, and Statistics) as well as in M.A. (Political Science )
Mr. Beni Prasad Rauka has an experience that spans over 23 years in the Finance Industry. Through his career he worked with Category 1 merchant banking firms and finance companies. Mr. Rauka is presently associated with SEB Group of companies as Group CFO and heads the finance and accounts departments since last 10 years.
He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Company Secretary.
Mr. T. R. Bajalia retired as Deputy Managing Director of the SIDBI on 31st December, 2013, before joining Board of the Company as Independent Director. Before being appointed as Deputy Managing Director of SIDBI in October, 2012 he was the Executive Director with IDBI Bank Limited. He started his career with Bank of India in 1974 as a Probationary Officer, before joining IDBI in 1983.
During his 39 year stint in banking industry, Mr. Bajalia has handled various portfolio including Corporate Banking, Project Appraisal, NPA management and resolution, MSME Funding, Human Resource Management/Development, Training, Legal, Management of facilities and infrastructure.
He played a significant role in the formation of the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) vertical in IDBI in 2008. He had been an IDBI nominee on the SIDBI Board since 2009, before being appointed its Deputy Managing Director. He has also served as a Nominee Director of IDBI on board various State level institutions, large public listed companies including JSW Energy Limited during his stint with IDBI.
He served as a Member of the Committee constituted by Reserve Bank of India for restructuring of SME and other concerns. He was also member of CDR empowered group. He was member of committees relating to MSME sector constituted by chambers of commerce including Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, FICCI and CII. He is a known authority on MSME funding in India and has addressed many a MSME forums.
Mr. Desh Raj Dogra has four decades of experience in the financial sector and in credit administration. Recently he retired as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at Credit Analysis and Research Limited (CARE) on August, 2016. He joined CARE as Deputy General Manager in 1993 and was one of the first employees of CARE.
He started his career in 1977 with the Himachal Pradesh Government and worked on agriculture development projects for a year. He started his career in financial sector by joining Dena Bank in 1978 and in a career spanning 15 years acquired expertise in various facets of banking.
Mr. Dogra served as Vice Chairperson and Public Interest Director at Metropolitan Stock Exchange of India Ltd until September 19, 2016. He serves as Independent Director on the Board of many large public listed and unlisted companies viz. S Chand and Company Limited, Welspun Corp Limited, Mercator Limited, Gandhar Oil Refinery (India) Limited, G R Infraprojects Limited, Asirvad Micro Finance Limited, Brickwork Risk & Investment Management Solutions Pvt. Ltd., ITI Mutual Fund Trustee Pvt. Ltd.
Mr. Dogra is a MBA (Finance) from FMS, University of Delhi and Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers and Master’s in Agriculture from Himachal Pradesh University.

Mr. Bipin Kabra is an accomplished professional who brings along an extensive experience of over 25 years in BFSI Industry. His area of experience spans over Banking, Insurance and Investment Banking. He joins us from Religare group, where he was serving as the President and Chief Financial Officer of Religare Finvest Limited (NBFC) and Religare Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited (HFC).
Across his career, he has been associated with promoter and professionally run organizations such as Religare, Dhanlaxmi Bank, Reliance, ICICI bank and SBI Capital Markets.
Mr. Kabra is a rank holder of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
